The Awka South Regional Director for Information of the Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Comrade Paul Obiokoye has called on the Middle belt, Lower Niger and Southern region to be on red alert as it has been reviewed by what he calls the Biafra Satellite, the planned attack on innocent citizens in Anambra state and beyond by some Fulanis.
Comrade Obiokoye disclosed this in a chart with Newsmen at Awka, the Anambra State Capital during a media conference as part of activities marking the Biafran Independence Anniversary Celebration.
"Information gathered through our satellite, it has come to our notice to our notice that a group of Fulanis are making serious training at Ama-hausa axis of Nise road in Amawbia. that every midnight they gather to embark on such training therefore we are now asking Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano to be watchful because we are going to hold him accountable for any attack that will occur within that arena or in the State in general."
He urged the constituted Authority to investigate and bulwark the conceived crisis against innocent citizens sayings that the state governments will be held accountable in a case of such a havoc.
Speaking on the successful outcome of the Anniversary of the self acclaim Republic of Biafra, the State Leader of Massob, Chief Arinze Igbani expressed satisfaction on the out pour of the members in honour of the Biafra Nation.
"Uwazuruike what Ojukwu saw as vision in you has been manifested on May 22nd when you pushed the Nigerian government, the might of Nigerian security you subdued nonviolently. Ezeigbo we Awka south region salute, congratulate and respect you as the President of Biafra from May 22nd, 2017.
" the Acting President is talking about sharing the national cake, what cake? the cake they couldn't share since 50years now, now they want to share the cake because they have seen that Nigeria has failed. We now call on Igbos to remain focused as plans has been concluded for Biafra to stand as a nation.
Chief Igbani frowned at the slant status of southeast governors on Biafra agitation even as he slammed the sharing of national cake as solution to Biafra agitation.
Also speaking, a legal adviser of the group, Mr. Charles Ugo though commended the state Leader, Chief Igbani for his efforts, wondered why Biafrans are finding it difficult to break out of Nigeria since the 1914 Amalgamation has expired two years ago.
"Even the international community has recognised us now more than before and I so much thank the Biafra Governor, Chief Igbani for his zealous acts towards the struggle but I am particularly surprised because even the agreement made on our behalf by the Britons has expired and that is the 1914 Amalgamation and we are not suppose to suffer for this at all."
End.
