Chief Igbani while addressing journalists in Nnewi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra state, said that the supreme council of the organisation has earmarked May the 22nd to 30th to mark the Independence Anniversary of the Republic of Biafra.
The MASSOB Leader enjoined the general public to go about their normal businesses as the celebration will not disrupt human activities stating that adequate security measures have been put on ground to ensure that the one week long anniversary celebration is fun filled.
Speaking on the seat at home autimatum earlier issued by the Indeginious People of Biafra, IPOB, Chief Agbani disagreed with that saying that the IPOB seem to have deviated from the normal struggle to political interest.
He however assured the general public of a nonviolent outing while calling on the International Communities to observe the ceremony.
Contributing, the zonal Director for Transportation, Anambra South, Chief Charles Oputa encouraged commuters across the Southeast to offer their support and also remain law abiding in order to achieve a hitch-free Anniversary celebration.
