Barely three weeks after he was crowned winner of the last BBNaija show, News from the latest celebrity in town, Efe, has hit Delight News as he sents out a ‘Thank you’ message to all the people that played a big role in helping him clinched the ultimate prize of N25 million naira and a SUV.

 The ‘Warri’ resident who was massively supported by his people mentioned the likes of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, comedian Ali Baba, I Go Dye, Akpororo, AY and many others.

“I am so grateful to a lot of people including Governor Okowa of Delta State. I heard he threw his weight behind me. I was also told that comedian I Go Dye dropped N1 million for my campaign team. When I called him, he ended my call and called me back. We spoke for hours. I am also grateful to Ali Baba, Akpororo and so many Nigerian celebrities whom I had never met but stood behind me. I hear my family house in Warri can now be likened to a tourit centre because of the number of people who have thronged our home to congratulate my parents”

Court orders LG election in Anambra before August 15.

The quest for Local Government Autonomy today recorded a boost as an Anambra Court presided over by the Chief Judge of Peter Peter Umeadi orders the Anambra State independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) to conduct election for only candidates already nominated for the election before the process was stopped before August 15, 2017. In a landmark judgment yesterday, in Court 1 of Anambra State High Court, Hon Justice Umeadi, while delivering judgment in suit No A/182/2016 brought by All Progressives Congress (APC) & 21 others vs Anambra State independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) & 28 others, held that the appointment and reappointment of Caretaker Committees in the 21 LGs of Anambra State is illegal.
