Bishop Nwokolo charges Christians to put their hope in God for Eternal comfort.

Right Reverend Dr. Owen Nwokolo,  Bishop on the Niger.

Bishop on the Niger, Anglican Communion, Right Reverend Dr. Owen Nwokolo has charged Christians to use the Easter Season to exercise hope in God.

Bishop Nwokolo who was giving his Easter Message while addressing Journalists yesterday at the Bishop's court in Onitsha, said that without hope in God and Jesus Christ, Man will strive to live a worthless life.

He stated that Christ died and resurrected so as to bring the hope of salvation to humanity which according to him implies that nothing is impossible for God.

"Without Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ who will bring Transformation and Renewal of life, life is worthless".

The Bishop who advised Christians to trust in God in every circumstance, encouraged them not to loose hope as God will reposition their lives for better.

"So we charge you brethren wherever you are don't loose hope, don't think that there is nothing you can achieve, don't think that the devil can defeat you; the devil tried to defeat Christ but he failed, the devil will fail woefully for your sake. as Nigerians, we are going to be transformed, we are going to resurrect with Christ and we will witness a new life in Him".

Reacting to the proposed Bill to curtail expensive burial ceremony in Anambra state, Bishop Nwokolo advised members of the state House of Assembly to seek the opinion of the Church in that regard on how to go about it.

He maintained that the Church in its capacity has always reproved expensive funeral rites but regretted that people will rather pay fines and have their ways.
"We don't support expensive funerals, we don't encourage that. We are joining all those who are proposing the Bill to encourage people living in Anambra state to curtail it, in fact the way it is going now is very alarming".

Charles Odunukwe, a potential Leader.

O bu onye si n’igbo enwenyi mmadu? What do we really mean when we say one is a Philanthropist?   Charles Odunukwe, Foundation and Chairman Chardon Foundation and the Vice President-General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Worldwide. These outlined questions form the basis of the following article that puts you on the know of a less perceived strong smell of a genius who has crossed and dotted his Ts and Is respectively in the events of human development and economic empowerment. One can attest to the fact that one of the factors that propagate a person with goodwill is Benevolence. Which in terms of human relation, charitable kindness, altruistic gifts, little wonder the saying that it does not matter how long one lives on earth rather what matters is the achievement he or she had instituted before going the way of all flesh and mortals. In this context, one person that keeps striking my thoughts is the man whose name will continue to ring a resounding bell in ears within...
