One of the Anambra Central Senatorial Seat Aspirants in the forthcoming general elections, Chief Mrs. Senator Uche Ekwunife says in as much as she had suffered injustice so far in her political journey, she believes that God will put back smiles in her face.
Chief Mrs. Ekwunife stated this yesterday at an interdenominational prayer session to herald her 2019 senatorial campaign, which held in Awka, the Anambra state capital.
Senator Ekwunife while addressing her supporters urged them to remain prayerful so as to draw the presence of God into her party’s resolve to install former governor Peter Obi as the next Vice President of Nigeria.
"Anywhere you are is your market place whether in the church or on the street you can market the party's candidates -they are your products and we're lucky to have Peter Obi as the Vice Presidential candidate".
She said it was necessary to dedicate her 2019 political ambition to God, since to her it is imperative to seek the face of God in her life’s activities.
"Whatever i do in life i always dedicate to God first, that's why we set side the day to dedicate the 2019 campaign to God for Him to take control -you pray for God's Grace upon your campaign team".
Officiating the prayer moment, a clergyman, Reverend Cannon Josiah Ozue encouraged Senator Ekwunife to remain strong for the task ahead even as he prayed God to grant the former Lawmaker Grace in the guest to lead the people of Anambra central in the next parliamentary set up.
Some of her political allies, the People’ Democratic Party, PDP’s candidate for Awka North and South Fedaral Constituency, Engineer Samuel Onwuaso and the Director General, Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization, Chief Sir Edwin Udoh, who spoke from the past achievement recorded in her name, maintained that more successes will be garnered should Senator Ekwunife make her way back to the National Assembly.
"Uche is a good player in the polity of this country, she is an achiever too. When you talk of people oriented representation, you count Uche as one and her contribution to the issues of Nigeria has been widely acclaimed not only by her supporters but also by her opponents too".
End.
