Mrs Obiano Warns Fraudsters Using Her Name To Con People, Promising Them APGA Primaries Tickets, To Desist.

19 SEPT. 2018

The wife of the Governor of Anambra State, and founder of the NGO, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), Chief (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano (Osodieme) has cautioned
members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and other individuals who have been going around promising aspirants of APGA tickets in her name, in the forthcoming party primaries to desist from such.

Mrs Obiano said that she has neither mandated anybody to enter into such discussions or negotiations with APGA aspirants, warning that those using her name to make such promises, if caught will be handed over to the security agencies.

Continuing, the wife of the Governor said that she stands by the promise of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of APGA, Governor Willie Obiano guaranteeing that APGA primaries will be free and fair, and urged the aspirants not to believe any such fake news about her endorsement of particular candidates, or pact with others.

“Go out there with confidence and sell your programmes and plans for the people to the delegates. Trust in the Lord and do not give in to such fraudulent intimidating tales of my having endorsed anybody.

I have not promised anybody APGA primary ticket. I have also not mandated anybody to do so on my behalf. Do not give anybody money on my behalf.

What we will remember however, at the end of it all is that there will only be one winner for every position.

I wish all APGA aspirants the very best of luck”, Mrs Obiano.
